Your First Visit
Our church is a relaxed place where you can join in, worship God, expand the boundaries of your faith and use your gifts to give something back. We have tried to provide you with all the information you need to make your first visit to our church easy and unsurprising. If there is something else we should include, drop us a note. God Bless!
Sunday Morning Schedule
Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to the Lord’s table.
We encourage any person longing to know Jesus and worship with other believers to come as you are. We offer a blended service (a mix of traditional and contemporary music) at 11:00 AM. From 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM we offer a variety of small group classes for children, youth, and adults. Child care is available during the 11:00 AM worship service as well as during small group classes.
As you learn more about the church you can try the various small group classes that are offered. Click here for a list of the adult classes.
Navigating Parking and Our Building
Visitor parking is located in front of the building (we expect you to use these spaces!) and handicapped parking is located at the rear of the building. Most of our Adult Sunday School classrooms are on the second floor and elevator access at the center of the building will provide easy access to services. Our building is entirely wheel chair accessible.
Upon your arrival, you will likely encounter one of our friendly Greeters at the entrances and be directed to our Welcome Center, located just inside the front entrance, in our Gathering Room. Our Greeters generally recognize visitors but, if they neglect to recognize you as a visitor, please let them know!
If you have children in tow, we’ll introduce you to our awesome Children’s or Youth Ministry Team, and then share a bit of information with you about the programs and events we have available at FBC Frederick for you and your family.
Feel free to grab a cup of coffee before service, grab a seat on a couch and relax before small groups or our Services begin, and get a chance to chat with a few of our members. Everyone is friendly and it’s always nice to let the burdens of our week slide off our shoulders before we enter into a time of praise and worship together as brothers and sisters of Christ.
During the offering, please do not feel obligated to give. Our desire is that you come, worship our Lord and Savior with us, and learn about us. We would ask that you fill out a visitor card to drop in the offering plate (or leave with the person at the Welcome Desk) so that you may tell us a bit about yourself and to allow us to follow up with you. Please let us know how we can serve you or your family.
Our Ushers will be happy to help you find a seat in the the Worship Center if needed.
Please, let us know how we can serve you. Come – Now is the time to WORSHIP!
